Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Grant Writing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, writing, and submitting grant proposals while collaborating closely with various departments to support our mission.

Responsibilities

  • Identify grant opportunities from government, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
  • Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals to secure funding for projects.
  • Work closely with finance and program staff to develop accurate budgets.
  • Prepare progress reports for funders to ensure compliance.
  • Build relationships with funding organizations and maintain communication.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on grant writing best practices.
  • Provide administrative support for grants management.
  • Help develop strategies for sustained funding and donor engagement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications or Non-profit Management
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in grant writing or a related field
