Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Yardman to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring tools and equipment are stored correctly, and assisting with the loading and unloading of materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine yard maintenance, including mowing and trimming.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss daily tasks and safety protocols.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
• Ensure all machinery and tools are in working order before use.
• Maintain records of materials loaded and unloaded.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, though certification in health and safety is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in a manual labour role, particularly in outdoor settings.

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Basic Repairs

Soft Skills

• Physical Fitness
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Heavy Machinery Experience: Experience operating heavy machinery such as tractors and mowers.
• First Aid Certification: Certification in first aid can be beneficial.
