Vehicle Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team in Dumfries. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing to help us deliver top-notch automotive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Install new parts as required and conduct road tests as necessary.
• Assist in training apprentices and junior technicians.
• Keep the workshop and tools in clean and safe working condition.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technology.
• Work effectively within a team to meet service deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a workshop environment

Technical Skills

• Diagnosis

Certifications

• ATA Accredited Vehicle Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
