Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cyanide pots used in gold and silver extraction processes. This critical role requires ensuring safe and efficient production of precious metals, adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of cyanide pot systems, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
• Monitor chemical processes closely to maintain optimal conditions for metal extraction.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of production data and equipment status.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for prompt resolution of any equipment failures.
• Assist in training new operators regarding safety procedures and operational protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in operating and maintaining cyanide pots, preferably in a mining or precious metals extraction environment is highly desirable.
