Job Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Diesel Dinkey Operator to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of diesel dinkeys, crucial for transporting goods within our rail yard. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar field, with a focus on safety compliance, effective communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during operations.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate movements of diesel dinkeys.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report to maintenance teams.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge regarding equipment operation.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and efficiency in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance

Experience

• Prior experience in the transportation or construction industry is advantageous.
