Job Description

As a Tax Accountant at Prestige Financial Services in Bristol, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to clients. We seek a motivated individual with a strong understanding of tax laws and a passion for helping clients navigate complex tax issues.

Responsibilities

• Determine tax liabilities and advise clients on potential outcomes.
• Engage in tax planning and forecasting for clients.
• Prepare comprehensive tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Ensure all tax filings are completed in a timely manner.
• Review and analyze payroll tax compliance.
• Assist with tax-related inquiries from clients and stakeholders.
• Stay current with changes in tax legislation that may affect clients.
• Create strategies for tax minimization and compliance.
• Advocate on behalf of clients during tax disputes.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior accountants in tax matters.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Relevant tax certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in taxation

Technical Skills

• Tax Law Knowledge
• Microsoft Excel

Certifications

• Certified Tax Coach (CTC)

Languages

• English: Fluent
