We are on the lookout for a dedicated Tipple Greaser who will play a crucial role in maintaining and operating coal or ore transportation systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of the required safety protocols, ensuring constant operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular inspections of transportation systems.
• Identifying and addressing any mechanical failures swiftly.
• Implementing lubrication schedules for equipment.
• Keeping logs of maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Coordinating with the maintenance team for efficient operations.
• Ensuring that all tools and equipment are in safe working condition.
• Reporting significant issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Following established safety practices and protocols.
• Assisting in maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Previous experience in a mining environment is beneficial

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Safety Protocols
• Knowledge of Lubrication Techniques

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Experience with conveyor systems: Familiarity with operating and maintaining conveyor systems used in transportation.
