Job Description

The Regulatory Policy Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contribute to policy formulation within the organisation. This position requires a blend of analytical skills and regulatory knowledge to effectively navigate the complex legal landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and interpret complex regulations affecting the organisation.
  • Develop and enhance compliance training programmes.
  • Engage cross-departmentally to ensure compliance integration.
  • Track and report on compliance metrics and KPIs.
  • Advise on the development of new products in compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct compliance surveys and gather feedback for policy improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure compliance objectives are met.
  • Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and up-to-date.
  • Assist in external audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Provide expert advice on compliance-related queries.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Law or Compliance is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a compliance role within a corporate environment
