Job Description

As a Sinter Feeder, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operation. Your main responsibility will be to feed raw materials into the sintering process, ensuring the efficiency of production while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities

• Monitor the sintering process to ensure proper material flow and distribution.
• Perform routine maintenance on the sinter feeder to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or disruptions in the sintering process.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise sintering parameters.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Engage in training sessions to stay updated with best practices and safety measures.
• Assist in managing the inventory of raw materials used in the sintering process.
• Contribute to weekly safety and efficiency meetings.
• Work closely with the quality control team to meet product specifications.
• Implement suggestions for improvements in operational processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in materials handling preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in similar roles within the steel industry

Technical Skills

• PLC Systems
• Basic Hand Tools Usage

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• IOSH Managing Safely
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional Certifications in Industrial Equipment: Having further certifications related to industrial equipment operation is a plus.
