Job Description

We're seeking a skilled accountant to join our Manchester office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, tax compliance, and account management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of financial documentation and supporting our clients with their accounting needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and team activities.
• Compile and analyze financial information.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and balance sheets.
• Provide tax planning advice and strategies to clients.
• Develop and implement strong internal controls.
• Assess risk management strategies and suggest improvements.
• Interact with banks and external stakeholders concerning financial matters.
• Evaluate financial systems and recommend enhancements.
• Create presentations summarizing financial performance for management.
• Manage the financial software systems used by the firm.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of diverse accounting experience
