Job Description

As an Automobile Wrecker, you will play a crucial role in dismantling end-of-life vehicles. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge to salvage valuable parts while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently dismantle vehicles while adhering to environmental regulations.
  • Sort and catalog all salvageable parts for inventory management.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members for seamless workflow.
  • Keep abreast of latest techniques in vehicle dismantling and recycling.
  • Assist in training new employees on safe tools and machinery usage.
  • Participate in safety audits and contribute to best practices.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to assess vehicle conditions.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with team members and supervisors.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment needs to management.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational certification in automotive mechanics or vehicle dismantling preferred.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a salvage or recycling role is a plus.
