Tile Molder

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tile Molder to join our production team. You will be responsible for creating molds for ceramic tiles, ensuring production quality, and adhering to industry standards. Your keen attention to detail and manual dexterity will be crucial to our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate tile molding machinery and equipment to produce tiles according to specifications.
• Prepare molds, mix materials, and pour or press them into molds to create tile shapes.
• Monitor and adjust machinery settings to ensure proper curing and drying processes.
• Inspect finished tiles for adherence to quality standards.
• Document production data, including quantities, materials used, and quality concerns.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed.
• Document all processes and maintain a strong focus on quality improvement.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the Production Team to troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma or vocational training in manufacturing processes is preferred

Experience

• Experience with different types of tiles (e.g., ceramic, porcelain)

Technical Skills

• Quality control skills
• Ability to interpret design specifications

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Physical stamina and strength

Languages

• English: Fluent
