Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Wildlife Ecologist to join our team in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in conducting field studies, managing conservation projects, and collaborating with local communities to safeguard wildlife and their habitats.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field studies and oversee ecological assessments of local habitats.
  • Formulate management strategies to protect endangered species and critical habitats.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Analyze ecological data and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Conduct public outreach programs to raise awareness about wildlife conservation.
  • Monitor compliance with environmental regulations during project implementation.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of wildlife data and project activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology or Conservation
  • Postgraduate qualification is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in wildlife research or habitat management
