Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Aviation Engineer to join our dynamic clinical research team in East Kilbride. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing and implementing aerospace technologies that support our clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise aviation systems for clinical trial operations.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to adapt aviation technology for research needs.
• Perform risk assessments related to aviation system use in clinical trials.
• Document aviation project specifications and progress.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for aviation-related issues in research applications.
• Stay current with advancements in aviation technology and clinical research methodologies.
• Support regulatory compliance in all aviation engineering activities.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and innovation within the engineering team.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time project completion.
• Facilitate training for team members on new aviation technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Master's degree in Aerospace or a related field is a strong advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aviation contexts, preferably clinical applications

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
