Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Stringer to join our team, responsible for tying and hanging meats for further processing. Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols are crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Stringing and tying various cuts of meat using traditional methods.
  • Ensuring correct presentation and handling of meat throughout the process.
  • Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
  • Following all safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Reporting any issues with equipment or processes to supervisors.
  • Participating in training sessions for new procedures and safety standards.
  • Documenting production outputs and any deviations from standard practice.
  • Assisting in quality control processes as needed.
  • Engaging in team meetings to discuss performance and challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Basic knowledge of meat processing techniques is preferred.
Experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment is advantageous.
