Job Description

As a Soundscriber Mechanic, you'll maintain and repair soundscriber machines to ensure smooth audio transcription. Your role will involve troubleshooting, detailed record-keeping, and collaborating with our transcription team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults in soundscriber machines and audio equipment.
  • Conduct repairs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document maintenance activities and manage equipment inventory.
  • Provide hands-on training and support to new technicians.
  • Work closely with the team on complex repair tasks.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and repair techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is desirable
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing audio transcription equipment.
