Job Description
As a Soundscriber Mechanic, you'll maintain and repair soundscriber machines to ensure smooth audio transcription. Your role will involve troubleshooting, detailed record-keeping, and collaborating with our transcription team.
Responsibilities
Diagnose faults in soundscriber machines and audio equipment.
Conduct repairs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Document maintenance activities and manage equipment inventory.
Provide hands-on training and support to new technicians.
Work closely with the team on complex repair tasks.
Stay informed about new technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical training or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering is desirable
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing audio transcription equipment.
