Job Description

We are seeking a Health Promotion Specialist to join our team in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing health promotion initiatives that benefit the local community. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to foster health education and awareness.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in community outreach to raise awareness about health services.
• Design, implement and evaluate public health campaigns.
• Cultivate collaboration with healthcare providers to align health services.
• Report findings to management and assist in strategic guidance for future initiatives.
• Participate in workshops and conferences to enhance professional development.
• Facilitate training sessions for community leaders on health topics.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to assess community health outcomes.
• Advocate for health policies that promote equity and access.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Health, or similar
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a health-related role with a focus on community engagement
