Job Description

As a Pharmacy Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert pharmaceutical guidance and consulting to healthcare professionals and patients. Your expertise will drive the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medication assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Lead patient education sessions on therapeutic drug use.
• Provide recommendations for drug therapy based on evidence-based practices.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of medications in patients.
• Keep abreast of new medications and changing guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy degree (MPharm) or equivalent
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years working as a pharmacist in a clinical setting

• Pharmaceutical Care Planning
• Medication Safety

Certifications

• GPhC Registration
• Advanced Practice Pharmacist Certification is an asset

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in clinical trials: Involvement in the management or oversight of clinical trials.
• Pharmacy management experience: Previous experience managing pharmacy operations or teams.
