Job Description

As a Tradeshow Worker, you'll play a crucial role in the setup, operation, and takedown of exhibitions and events. This dynamic position demands strong organisational skills and a detail-oriented mindset, enabling you to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help in arranging the layout of booths and related spaces.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations during setup and takedown.
  • Assist in managing event registration and attendee queries.
  • Provide support to exhibitors before, during, and after the show.
  • Attend briefings and meetings to understand event details and requirements.
  • Assist in post-event evaluation and reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to meet changing event needs.
  • Support the event manager in logistical planning.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude towards all duties.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Event Management or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in event management or related roles
Technical Skills
  • Inventory management software proficiency
  • Event management software experience
Soft Skills
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in customer service: Valuable in managing attendee interactions and inquiries.
  • Experience in working with electrical and technical equipment: Helps in troubleshooting technical issues during events.
