Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Pickler to join our team. The Steel Pickler will be responsible for preparing steel materials for further processing by cleaning, removing impurities, and ensuring optimal surface conditions.

Responsibilities

• Control the pickling solution concentration and temperature for effective cleaning.
• Consistently analyse steel materials using colour and surface inspections.
• Actively participate in the maintenance schedule for pickling machinery.
• Appropriately manage the waste of pickling solutions in accordance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational training in steel processing

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in steel pickling or processing.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Chemical handling skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills

Certifications

• Health and safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of acid pickling methods: Experience with chemical pickling techniques for different steel grades.
• Problem-solving in production settings: Ability to troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
