Job Description

We are seeking a Cloth Hauler to join our logistics team. The successful applicant will be responsible for safely transporting fabric materials from our production units to warehouses and stores across the UK, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Transport fabric materials efficiently while ensuring quality and safety.
  • Check loads for accurate counts and confirm that they match shipping documents.
  • Follow established routes and schedules to optimise delivery times.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as required to support team efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Use GPS navigation to ensure efficient routes are taken.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team for smooth operations and communication.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid driving license (Category C1)
  • CPC certification preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
Technical Skills
  • Pallet Jack Operation
  • Safety Awareness

Certifications
  • Forklift License (recommended)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
