Job Description

As a Desk Clerk, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your friendly demeanor and keen attention to detail will play an essential role in delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Efficiently manage check-in/check-out processes.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel services.
  • Process reservations and handle modifications as needed.
  • Ensure the front desk area is tidy and well-maintained.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including bookkeeping and record-keeping.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Manage guest accounts and process payments according to company policies.
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist with training new staff as required.

Advantageous

  • Bilingual proficiency in additional languages: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests; knowledge of another language is advantageous.
  • Experience with customer feedback systems: Familiarity with managing guest reviews and feedback platforms.
