Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate environmental impact, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting sustainable practices within the organization. You will work closely with local authorities, environmental agencies, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sustainability programs.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Assess the efficacy of environmental controls and strategies.
  • Coordinate waste management initiatives and programs.
  • Develop educational content for various stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support for environmental compliance issues.
  • Support disaster response and recovery efforts.
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative energy solutions.
  • Stay updated on environmental legislation changes.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget plans for environmental projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental assessment or engineering
