Job Description

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in patients at home. You'll create personalized treatment plans and engage with patients and their families to optimise therapy outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and report on patients' speech and language capabilities.
  • Create and execute effective therapy strategies for diverse needs.
  • Engage families in treatment processes and provide guidance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Work alongside occupational and physical therapists for holistic care.
  • Share knowledge of the latest SLP practices and tools.
  • Advocate for patient needs within multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an SLP, preferably in home health care
