Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to lead our operations in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, overseeing inventory, staff, and ensuring efficient operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining our high service standards and driving improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse functions including inventory, shipping, and receiving.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency.
• Manage warehouse budgets and control costs effectively.
• Act as point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders.
• Review and approve weekly schedules for warehouse staff.
• Assist with the development of a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
• Masters in Logistics is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in logistics and warehouse management

Technical Skills

• SAP ERP
• Lean Management

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced Excel skills: Strong skills in data analysis and reporting using Excel.
• Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts.
