Job Description

We are looking for an efficient Ironer to ensure the highest quality pressing and finishing of garments. The successful candidate will operate various ironing machinery, inspect completed items, and maintain a clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure garments are pressed and finished to the highest quality standards.
• Operate various types of industrial ironing machines, paying attention to detail.
• Engage in quality control by inspecting finished items to ensure they meet customer expectations.
• Keep the workplace tidy and maintain all equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance skills and safety knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Basic understanding of fabric types and their care instructions.

Experience

• Experience using industrial ironing machinery is beneficial.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of stain removal techniques
• Experience with garment alterations and repairs

Soft Skills

• Strong teamwork abilities

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in garment alterations and repairs: Skills in executing minor repairs on garments will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in laundry services: Awareness of safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
