Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Die Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of dies used in varied manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance and longevity. Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience are a must.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices for die maintenance.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring die issues.
• Maintain a well-organised workspace to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in engineering or manufacturing (preferred)

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in die repair or relevant mechanical maintenance roles

Technical Skills

• CNC operation
• Welding

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Ability to work under pressure

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles: Understanding lean methodologies to optimise processes.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic systems: Knowledge of hydraulic systems relevant to die maintenance.
