Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our finance team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in accounting and finance, capable of overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting department in daily operations.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Prepare and present financial statements to stakeholders.
• Implement robust internal controls and audit processes.
• Forecast cash needs and manage treasury operations.
• Support the growth and development of the finance team.
• Engage with external auditors and consultants.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Enhance financial systems and tools for analysis.
• Facilitate training sessions for financial literacy across the company.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree in Business Administration is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a managerial accounting role
