Job Description

As an Explosives Worker, you will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, and detonation of explosives in various construction projects. Your expertise will contribute to efficient site preparation while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the loading and blasting of explosives in accordance with safety standards.
• Train junior staff in safe explosives handling and blasting procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of blasting operations and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices regarding explosives.
• Participate in safety audits and inspections as required.
• Provide technical support and guidance for complex blasting operations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Explosives Technology preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in explosives management or related field

Certifications

• Advanced Explosive Management Certification
• CSCS Card for Construction Safety

Languages
