Job Description

As a Transportation Planner, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of transportation systems. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that our solutions meet the demands of today's urban environments. Your analytical skills and creativity will be key in identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing transportation studies.
  • Evaluate data to recommend improvements to traffic flow and safety.
  • Design transportation models and simulations.
  • Prepare presentations for stakeholders about transportation projects.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to implement improvements.
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes affecting transportation.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies for public projects.
  • Engage in community outreach to gather public input.
  • Support sustainable transport initiatives.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for project proposals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation engineering or planning
