As a Customs Brokerage Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the logistics chain, facilitating the smooth import and export of goods while ensuring compliance with customs regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customs clearance for import/export shipments while ensuring compliance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customs officials.
• Assist in training staff on customs compliance processes.
• Liaise with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely customs clearance.
• Maintain records of customs shipments and related documentation.
• Conduct audits of customs procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Advise on tariff classifications and valuation methods.
• Monitor customs brokerage software for efficient processing.
• Support compliance audits and respond to inquiries from customs authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Higher education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Additional certifications in trade compliance are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in customs brokerage.
