Job Description

We are seeking a hard-working Picker to join our warehouse team in Manchester. You will be responsible for accurately selecting and packing products for shipment, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. If you have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select items for customer orders from shelves.
• Package items securely for shipment and prepare them for dispatch.
• Utilize warehouse management software to update inventory.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with the logistics team to meet daily targets.
• Perform inventory checks and assist in stocktaking.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Be responsive to feedback and continuously improve processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all picked and packed items.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements and successes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Software (WMS)
• Forklift Operation

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Forklift certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with RFID Technology: Familiarity with RFID devices for tracking products in the warehouse.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: Understanding of workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
