Pick Up Worker

Job Description

As a Pick Up Worker, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely and safe collection of waste materials. You will follow company policies and customer requirements while efficiently picking up and delivering items.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
• Complete daily logs of deliveries and pick-ups efficiently.
• Proactively troubleshoot potential delays or issues during deliveries.
• Engage in customer service interactions to promote satisfaction.
• Ensure that all items picked up are properly documented.
• Assist with training new team members on pick-up protocols.
• Participate in team meetings to improve processes and workflows.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with dispatch for optimal routing and scheduling.

Requirements

Education

• No specific qualifications required, but relevant experience is preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar pick-up or delivery role is advantageous.
