Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Slough facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to, and optimizing workflow. A proactive approach and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee warehouse operations including staff management and logistics.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and company policies are adhered to.
• Track and report on key performance indicators for warehouse efficiency.
• Work with management to develop strategies for improved operational performance.
• Handle staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal workforce availability.
• Assist with inventory audits and validate stock counts.
• Ensure that all outgoing shipments are prepared accurately and timely.
• Engage with vendors and external partners as needed.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics

Technical Skills

• Lean Management
• Forklift Operation

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
