Job Description

Join our dynamic Bangor team as a Distribution Supervisor, where you will lead the operational strategies of our distribution centre. Your role will encompass managing staff, optimising processes, and enhancing the overall productivity of the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the distribution team, ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Plan and execute delivery schedules to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain thorough records of stock levels and deliveries to optimise logistics.
  • Dress safety protocols and enforce health and safety regulations at the workplace.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to manage supply chain challenges effectively.
  • Review and report on staffing needs, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Engage with suppliers and customers to improve relationships and service delivery.
  • Ensure all equipment and machinery are in safe working condition.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
  • Relevant qualifications in logistics are a plus
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within logistics or distribution.
