Job Description

As a Fleet Manager at Fleet Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our fleet, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standard. You will work closely with drivers and service staff to develop efficient routes and implement safety measures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational efficiency of all fleet vehicles.
  • Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of fleet vehicles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Monitor compliance with DOT regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of drivers and logistics staff.
  • Review and analyse fleet data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Report on fleet performance to senior management regularly.
  • Implement best practices in fleet management and safety.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with vehicle operations.
  • Prepare and manage the budget for fleet operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in fleet operations management
