Responsibilities

• Restore and preserve various art objects to their original state.
• Evaluate damage and plan restoration strategies effectively.
• Work with advanced tools for detailed restoration work.
• Engage in collaboration with peers for restoration projects.
• Document each restoration for future reference and analysis.
• Adhere to safety standards when dealing with valuable items.
• Participate in workshops to enhance your restoration techniques.
• Mentor junior staff in art restoration practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s in Fine Arts or Art Conservation
• Master’s degree is a bonus

Experience

• At least 2 years in a similar role

• Fine craftsmanship

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience with museum collections: Experience in handling and preserving museum artefacts.
