Job Description

As a Petroleum Sampler, you will play a key role in collecting and analyzing petroleum samples to ensure compliance with quality standards. This position requires excellent attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect representative samples of crude oil and refined products.
  • Document and label all samples accurately before transportation.
  • Perform field and laboratory testing to assess sample quality.
  • Follow established safety procedures for handling and storing samples.
  • Coordinate with laboratory staff for thorough sample processing.
  • Maintain detailed records of tests and findings.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve operational goals.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and calibration as needed.
  • Report any deviations or concerns to senior staff immediately.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to sampling processes.

Requirements

Education
  • A degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • Experience working in a laboratory or field sampling environment is a definite plus.
