Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Impact Assessor to join our Aberdeen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and experience assessing project impacts on the environment. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments for proposed developments.
• Conduct stakeholder consultations and engage community groups.
• Provide expert advice on environmental legislation.
• Integrate scientific assessment methods into evaluations.
• Review and critique environmental reports produced by others.
• Develop and implement environmental monitoring programs.
• Support the team in achieving sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or assessments

• Regulatory Knowledge
• Report Writing

• Negotiation Skills
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
• Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Environmental Modelling Software: Experience using software tools for environmental simulations and assessments.
• Project Management Experience: Experience in managing environmental projects from inception to completion.
