Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Construction Manager to oversee construction projects in Middlesbrough. In this role, you'll coordinate various construction activities, manage site teams, and ensure all projects are completed to the highest standards. Your expertise will guide project timelines, budget management, and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Review and approve plans and specifications before work begins.
  • Coordinate materials procurement and ensure timely delivery to site.
  • Address and resolve any client complaints or issues promptly.
  • Keep updated with industry trends and innovations to enhance project delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all project-related queries.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor safety and progress.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations during construction.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and performance.
  • Document project changes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in Project Management is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role in construction
