Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Taper to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying joint compound and tape to drywall seams, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and possess strong hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drywall for taping, ensuring all surfaces are smooth and free from dust.
• Utilize various tools and methods to apply joint compound across seams.
• Ensure proper adhesion of tape and joint compound for a flawless finish.
• Conduct quality checks on finished work.
• Collaborate with fellow construction workers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Keep work area tidy and dispose of materials responsibly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations on-site.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certification in drywall finishing preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience required in drywall taping.

Technical Skills

• Taping techniques
• Joint compound application

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Additional drywall certifications are a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
