Construction Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking hardworking and dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support railway infrastructure projects, including track repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials at construction sites.
• Participate in safety briefings and training sessions.
• Work alongside skilled workers to learn and assist in specialised tasks.
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards to promote safety.
• Take measurements and provide support for construction layouts.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of track maintenance training programme or apprenticeship

Experience

• Experience working with hand and power tools is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Experience with heavy machinery
• Basic IT skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings: Experience with blueprints and technical specifications related to railway construction.
• Experience with railway signalling systems: Knowledge of basic signalling systems and safety protocols.
