Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Buffer to join our team. As a Machine Buffer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to clean, smooth, and polish various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines for polishing and grinding tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure machine functionality and quality output.
• Document daily production rates and report any discrepancies.
• Participate in training sessions for new equipment and safety practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting machine malfunctions with minimal downtime.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production goals.
• Provide feedback on machine operations and suggest improvements.
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Support the overall operational efficiency of the production line.
• Ensure tools and machines are cleaned and maintained properly.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in machining or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience using specific machinery

Soft Skills

• Team-oriented

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional certifications or training in machine buffering.: Certifications in related fields would be an advantage.
• Previous supervisory experience.: Valuable experience in a similar role leading a small team.
