Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our kitchen facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, ensuring compliance with hygiene policies.
• Thoroughly clean kitchen equipment and utensils post-use.
• Recycle and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Assist in maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols while on duty.
• Support the kitchen team during peak times by helping with basic food preparation when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous

Experience

• Prior experience in kitchen or hospitality environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Physical stamina
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals: Understanding safe storage and handling of chemicals used in cleaning.
