Job Description

We are inviting applications for the role of Airfield Operations Specialist. In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of ground support equipment at airports. Your daily responsibilities will include coordinating ground activities and maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Responsibilities

  • Direct aircraft during landing and takeoff as part of the marshalling process.
  • Support the deployment and retrieval of ground support equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Liaise with air traffic control and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in training new staff members in ground operations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve service delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between different airport teams.
  • Monitor stock levels of operational supplies and equipment.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive working atmosphere.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Certification in aviation ground services (advantageous)
Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service or airport operations is preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of baggage handling procedures
  • Familiarity with ground support equipment

Languages
