Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Event Planner to join our dynamic team in York. The right candidate will have a passion for creating unforgettable experiences and possess excellent organisational skills. You’ll be responsible for coordinating various events from concept to execution, working closely with clients, vendors, and our internal team.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute memorable events that resonate with the target audience.
• Establish, manage, and adhere to event budgets.
• Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and other vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during events.
• Provide post-event evaluations to assess results and identify improvements.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and client preferences to enhance service delivery.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote events through various channels.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Event Management or Hospitality is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in complex event planning

Certifications

• Meeting Professionals International (MPI) Certification
• Professional in Event Management (PEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
