Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and managing structural projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and leading a team of engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural elements according to design codes.
• Facilitate communication between different project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments.
• Collect and analyse data related to structural performance.
• Ensure all design work is completed within budget and schedule.
• Remain adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive experience in the engineering sector

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Structural Design Codes

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng)
• NEBOSH Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM technologies: Experience with Building Information Modelling for collaborative design.
• Expertise in seismic design: Knowledge and experience in designing structures to withstand seismic activity.
