Hoist and Winch Operators

Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Hoist and Winch Operators to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate and maintain hoisting equipment, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of materials within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of lifting equipment during peak times and busy shifts.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment operational procedures.
• Monitor and report any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor.
• Support recycling efforts by actively participating in sorting and processing materials.
• Contribute to the overall environmental goals of the company.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Heavy Equipment Operation is a plus
• Basic education and literacy skills preferred

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Loader Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work shifts: Flexibility to work evenings or weekends if required.
