Fur Storage Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fur Storage Clerk to support the daily operations of our fur storage facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and return of luxury fur garments to customers while ensuring they are maintained in pristine condition.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate documentation of all fur garments received and stored.
• Handle all customer interactions professionally and courteously, providing clear information about services.
• Monitor and regulate conditions in the storage facility to preserve the integrity of furs.
• Support the sales team by providing timely updates on inventory and garment status.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance on garments as required.
• Assist in training new staff on the procedures and standards of the fur storage operation.
• Review and update inventory management systems for accuracy.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
• Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage return business.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a fashion or retail environment is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in retail sales: Previous work experience in luxury retail environments is preferred.
