Job Description

As a Digger Operator at Construction Leaders Ltd., you will play a crucial role in our projects, operating excavators and heavy machinery to dig and move materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction settings, a keen eye for safety, and a passion for working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of digging machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
• Read project specifications and apply them to daily operations.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Provide feedback to supervisors regarding equipment performance and site conditions.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and safety updates.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Maintenance
• Site Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• CPCS or NPORS certification in excavator operation
• Construction Site Safety Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in large-scale construction projects: Background working on significant infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software: Ability to interpret designs and plans using computer-aided design tools.
